Brain Tumour Research hold Wear A Hat Day annually, during March. The concept is simple and persuasive – bring together colleagues, or friends, to wear hats (cosy, crazy, and anything in-between), and raise money for a worthy cause in the process.
For Wear A Hat Day 2017, friends, family and colleagues helped me raise in excess of £1,400 (that was just the beginning!). I have been so proud to support BTR in their quest to campaign, educate and conduct research into effective forms of treatment for brain tumour patients and their families.
This year, I have been invited to attend the launch event, which takes place on Saturday, 3rd March – make sure to follow me on Instagram and Twitter where I’ll be sharing updates on the day.
Get involved
In the meantime, start organising your Wear A Hat Day celebrations – as far as I’m concerned (and I’m sure BTR would agree) no idea is too big, or small!
I’d love to hear about what you are planning – email me or tag me in your posts.

I’ve made a note to celebrate with my Slimming World group on Thursday, 29th March😀 Persuading any of them to actually wear a hat might be another matter entirely but I shall do my best and will update👍 xx
